Jonathan Beckerman has been making photographs since the age of 13, turning a lifelong curiosity about people, movement, and visual storytelling into a career spanning more than two decades. After earning a B.F.A. in Cinema and Photography from Ithaca College, he built his career as an independent commercial and editorial photographer.

His work moves between advertising, sports, portraiture, and documentary storytelling. With a background as a college baseball player and years spent photographing athletes and organizations, Jonathan brings an understanding of both the person in front of the camera and the story behind the image.

Today, his work is driven by the same curiosity that first drew him to photography: finding the moment, perspective, or expression that reveals something real about his subject.
